Auction Sites

What other auction sites are out there besides eBay? While I like eBay and have never had problems with it, I would always like to hear of some alternatives.

I don't really know the answer to this, but I've been wondering, too, so I'll watch this thread for an answer. I've heard people mention yahoo auctions in the past, but I have no experience with them so no idea if it's better than eBay.

There are actually a whole bunch of them. Amazon runs an auction site, there's a site called Bidz, one called UBid and MSN Auctions also. I don't know much about them but other people I know have liked them.

I think you could probably find a "specialty" online auction for just about anything, if you chose to look for it. I know I've heard of some that specialize just in handcrafted items. So, surely there would be some for people that want to "trade" in other things, too.
