Toys R us sucks!

Im a big online shopper for Christmas. I used Amazon till they changed the toy dept. I went over to the Toys R this year to give it a try and my experience was horrible! I purchased a dora magic dream house, only to find it 20 dollars cheaper at wal-mart online. After only 4 hours i tried to cancel the order at toys r us and was told no they dont have a cancel ability. I would have to take the item to the store nearest me and do the refund there minus the shipping fee. I had to call back three times and when i said i would deny deliver and refute credit card charges they finally canceled the order that wasn't even set to be delivered till 3-5 business days from now!!!

In fact they lowered the price of the doll house between calls to match wal-mart and when i asked to at least get the new price they had on the website. Again, i was told no only after four hours of just purchasing it!

Please be aware they have a terrible cancellation and return policy, not to mention horrible customer service.

I have never had any problem with them and I have purchased a lot from them on line. But then again, I haven't had to cancel. I do find them higher priced and many times popular items aren't available on line.

We had a similar problem ourselves a few years back. It's not the best website in the world for online shopping, that is for definet sure.

I have used them this year and overall I have not had a problem. But I also have not had to return things. I really don't care for the way they charge you card though. With me they charged as they shipped out individually. It would have just been easier if they had shipped everything out at once and charged my card for the total amount instead of a bunch of seperate amounts.

That really sucks. Toysarus is definitely not the cheapest place out there. I've used them because they have such a huge inventory.

I am a grandmother and just going into a toy department in a store drives me crazy. Ther are just to many toys out now. So I really get overwhelmed when going to Toys R Us. They have everything , but I can never find anything. It is just too much for me. I always take my daughter with me. Without her I would be lost.

The worst time to try a new website is to shop at Christmas.

Next year - start buying earlier and give yourself plenty of time to get the best deal.

Wow, that looked quite cumbersome.... well never bought much aside from some videogames there...but can't remember having any problems.
