Do you find online shopping safe? - Page 2

I use a special credit card for online purchases and paypal for some ebay things. I've always felt pretty safe, I guess.

So far, so good. I have always shopped online for books and softwares, plus toys for my kids. My favourite is amazon.com and toysrus. I live in Japan and finding educational toys in English language is very very difficult here. So I am forced to look outside the borders. I always turn towards USA, thanks to amazon and other good sites. I have always been apprehensive of the theft possibility. So, I just use one of my cards which has a minimum margin for online shopping. Moreover, the credit card companies have the customer friendly policy of reimbursing the money if you claim you didnt buy the items.

I love to shop online. I also live in a small town and finding a LOT of things here without going 2-3 hours away is difficult.

Anyone had problems with Amazon yet? I must confess, I'm a chicken when I have to buy on line. Unfortunatly, what I want to buy now, is available only on line.

I've never had any problem with shopping online safely. I try to be very careful about who I buy things from and how I go about submitting my information.

This time of year is when I do most of my online shopping and I need to get started!

I have never shopped on line. But my daughter does it all the time and has no problems. In fact she did most of her Christmas shopping on line and had no problems at all.

So far, so good (knock on wood). I am very careful about where I make purchases from online as well as what credit card I use so that I can carefully track my orders.

Yeah I find it quite safe...once buying from a trusted merchant such as Newegg...if I'm buying from eBay I only buy things from power sellers...and I always have PayPal protection...so I'm always covered no matter what...

I've not had a problem shopping online...espescially when able to use paypal and similar to make payments.

Payment by paypal is safe as you have the option for a dispute with them. The online shop I have is guaranteed safe.
