Mens clothes

Something I've been really frustrated with since running my own business is the dire state of men's clothing.

If I want to wear a shirt casually, or something sporty, I'd probably be fine. But neither appeals to me in the slightest.

Ideally, I'd be shopping around Camden Lock for all my clothing, but as that's a little niche I don;t expect River Island to have it.

But even still, men's fashion is so stale. There's no real choice. Do I want to look like a jock or trendy businessman, and no other option.

Come on, designers - stop focusing on women - who have superb options and choices each season - make a little room for the men in your creativity!

I have often wondered if men feel a little slighted with fashion. We women have endless choices, but men don't seem to have nearly as much as we do.

Well, what can you really do? I mean, there are different styles if you want to get especially... strange.

What do women really have that men don't? SKirts and dresses. But, let's say in a shirt... what style do we have that you don't?

It's the decorative aspect - thw willingness to treat clothing design in a more playful way with women's clothes.

I mean, next time you're in one of the big clothing stores, check out the difference - there are so many ways to even shape a skirt or blouse, let alone design and trimmings. In the men's section, though, it's usually just sporty or business styles. I don't want either!

Next year I'll try and get down to London and go shopping in Camden - get lots of alternative and period goth stuff, and interesting Chinese and Indian styles. If I can.

I don't know if women are really in advantage. Most of designers prefer tall and skinny women or should I say anorexic ?!!!

A woman has the diversity of colors in her favor, otherwise the models are still sporty or classic.

Can you imagine the life for a man when he had to wear long socks, corduroy trousers and wigs ? Poor them.

Well I know that I do not have a style at all, would probably not help the men clothing business around here

I know that most male designers are bisexual (nothing meant to offend them) but it is absurd that they focus on girls fashion. Ralph Lauren has an eye for mens designer clothing but we could neither say he specializes on mens clothes.

I agree. I have absolutely no style, and I wish more designers would pay attention to people like me!
