Conifers
Miniature and slow growing conifers are well suited for growing in tubs and pots as well as old stone sinks and firm-based troughs. They can also be planted in windowboxes as part of winter display. Well drained , loam-based compost and good drainage are essential. Once established, conifers are easy to grow and need little attention.
