Default Recycled garden furniture

Anyone here bought any recycled garden furniture?

If so, how are you finding it standing up to the stresses of outdoor use?

I'm thinking especially in terms of polywood, etc.

Hello Brian

Polywood is made from recycled plastic bottles which are made into plastic "timber". Because of the nature of the making, the timber is solid, just like wood timber and the colours are introduced in the making of the timber.

This means that the "timber" when made into furniture does not fade in the sunshine, is solid in wind, can withstand extremes of temperature and only needs minimal maintenance with soapy water to keep it looking as good as the day you first bought it.

Polywood is also fashioned into an extensive range of chairs, tables, benches, rocking chairs and other furniture and comes in stunning colours to suit your lifestyle!

Hi Brian, I have a pollywood bench in my garden and have had no issues with it in terms of weather, even with the variety we've had the last few months: snow to sunshine and back to rain.
