I can happily say I've never seen the movie. Never seen The Sound of Music either, in my mind it is the same type of fish. Yeuck.

You should try the Sound of Music, DD. I'm sure you'll change your mind about it.

You know, it's really strange...when I first saw The Sound of Music, in the theater when it first came out, I hated it. Then, three or four years ago I watched it on TV...I don't know, I think I was sick in bed or something and there was nothing else to do...and I really enjoyed it. I've seen it a couple of times since then, and I still like it. No idea why.

Hi phiddlechik and welcome to FreeCafe

I'll appreciate if you can take a few minutes and read the FreeCafe 101 thread for new members. Thanks.

I hope you sing it for Christmas or in class only. I mean, it's nice hearing Christmas songs, but not in November or other periods of the year.

Moody ?

Here, we're lucky in a way : Christmas carols is not a tradition around here. And Chrismas marketing only started last week, with the Shopping articles in every magazine. Seems like merchants are more reluctants to over-advertize on a festive day, after the forced implementation of Halloween wasn't well received.

For me Chrismas period start early in December when I prepare my tree (articifial one) and end mid-january when I undress it.

Oh, and welcome phiddlechik. Pop around in the Me, myself and I board and tell use more about yourself. And don't forget to have fun !

Yeap. It's 5 o'clock in the morning and I cannot sleep. And I'm sure another helll of a day waits for me at work.

Speaking of Christmas. I bought some sweets gifs for Christmas this week-end. I just couln't help myself with all that you can find on the shelves. The pack looks like a bottle full of milk chocolate blended with Mexican tequila and a box of dark chocolate with different coffee flavors. *miam* Well, at least that I had in mind when I bought them. We have a long month, so I cannot swear I won't touch them before.
