Do You Use Coupons?

I have found that using coupons when we do our weekly grocery shopping helps out alot when it comes to saving money. Do you all use coupons and if so what tricks have you found that saves even more money?

I used coupons very heavily in the past but I'm sad to say that I haven't been keeping up with them much lately. I think that what saves me most is stocking up on things when they're on sale but *only* things that I use continually throughout the year.

The only time I really use coupons is when i can compare them to sale items and manage to use a coupon that will double on an item that's already on sale. I find that I usually buy a generic of the same product for a lot less. Coupons tend to be for expensive items!

I use them when I think about it, or when I see one that applies to a product I buy fairly often. But, I've not made it a habit ...yet lol.
