Default Bedtime

What is your typical time to head off to bed? I'm a horrible nightowl, and tend to get to bed between 1 and 2am on a regular basis.

My husband thinks I am nuts because I will stay up until 2 or 3 a.m. and get up at around 8 a.m. But at night is when it is so quiet and I can finally just relax and I am not running around doing everything for everyone else. It is my time.

Hehe I shouldn't admit this. but I will anyhow. I have to get up usually around 5 so I'm always sleeping by 10. Often earlier.

Well, if you have to get up by 5 it is only natural to go to bed a bit earlier. As tater said though, the night really is a great "quiet time" for me.

My schedule seems to have readjusted itself over the years. In my early twenties I was a night owl and then I became a fall into bed at 8pm kind of person and now I am a want to fall into bed at 8pm but my mind won't shut off till about 11pm kind of person.

True. I used to get up at 4 years ago and I loved that time of morning. I
can't do that any more, but I still like the early morning.

The early morning can be nice. I do enjoy it when I'm up that early, but my brain usually isn't operational yet!

It fluctuates for months at a time. Some times I'll be so tired I pass right out at 10 with no need for sleep aids. Other times it'll be 12 or 1 am and I still can't sleep well. Rarely, I will lay down early but can't fall into a deep sleep and it's the worst!
I'm still young so I blame it on hormones or something I can't control haha
