I have two boys one will be eight in July and the youngest will be six in October. I am so glad that I had them when I did because the ages that they are they are more like friends and brothers. They share alot of the same interests and my oldest sons friends also enjoy playing with my youngest so it has worked out great for us.

My only problem with my kids, is that I wish we'd had them when I was younger. But, we were told we'd never have children, so I'm thankful I had them at all.
The boys would like a baby sister, but I don't know if I would want to go through pregnancy again at my age.

I have a 7 1/2 year difference between my brother and I. It sort of doesn't work out because I'm 23 and he's going on 16 and he feels like he should have the freedoms I get, but I can't really explain to him that patience is a virtue and all those great cliche sayings haha...
It all depends on the situation and yourself...would you want them to have closer age differences and be very similar or have a gap and maybe the older one can help out a little... |
