Default Halloween costumes

I went shopping to get my sons Halloween costumes yesterday. My sons are five and seven. They both wanted to be the same thing. They each picked out power ranger costumes. The problem was the oldest was none to happy that his younger brother wants to be the same thing. I feel bad at times for my youngest because he so looks up to his bigger brother and wants to be just like him. But I cannot seem to get my oldest to understand that he does this just because, in my youngest's own words "He is just so cool" Meaning his big brother. In the end they both got power rangers but I kinda talked my youngest into getting a different color power ranger. So in the end they were both happy with the costumes, but I thought I was never going to get out of that store. So anyway have your kids picked out their costumes yet? If so what are they going be? You all have a safe and Happy Halloween.

My daughter saw a pink princess costume and the search was over. My son is dressing as Tigger, but at 15 months he isn't in much of a position to argue about it.

I have two girls the eight year old is in love with tigers so i bought her a cute tiger costume. I bought the three year old a cute little kitty costume to go with the tiger.

I have the same type of situation with my two girls. I keep stressing to the oldest that her sister really really loves her and looks up to her and its her job to make sure to protect her and help mom teach her right and wrong. The oldest just loves slamming her out of her room though and acting like shes just a big bother. I keep telling her one day her little sister may not want to play with her if she keeps treating her badly and that she is teaching her how to treat her later.

I always make my children's halloween costumes. We have a lot of fun constructing them together, and I (please, no offense meant) just hate the idea of a bunch of kids just dressing up as the same thing.

My eldest (8) is being a pirate captain, complete with parrot, and my youngest (7) is being a robot this year.
