Hmm if I was to get a non-cat animal, I'd get a parrot...but then again, it could start arguing with me

A talking parrot ! What a wonderful idea !

Unfortunatly, I didn't see parrots of any kind into the pet shops nearby.

Parrots do end up costing much too; but if I remember correctly, they can have a pretty good life, as in forty to maybe eighty years...might be wrong though.

I have a cat her name is Lucy she is so much company for me.My daughter and hetr husband have two birds and I am scared to death of them. I would never have a bird.

I have 4 cats inside with me. They are all resuced from the pound, and very sweet. I just could never be without my kittys, Cheers,
