Default Organic sheets?

Has anyone else here noticed the market for organic sheets and fabrics?

I've been looking around online and it seems especially popular in California, especially in terms of organic bedding and organic clothing.

Anyone into this?

Not noticed much in the UK...

If you want to see what I mean, here's a sample organic fabrics store:

I noticed only organic food. Maybe this is a current movement for new market targets.

Well, I spotted quite a few places in the USA - especially California - selling it. Could be something of an emerging market.

Starting to spread quite well here, even in regular shop and outside of organic shops. They offer pretty organic kid clothes too.

Gaiam.com has organic sheets as well as clothing. I have even found some really cute childrens clothing and stuffed animnals at Amazon.com!

I have noticed organic clothing. The idea behind it is that the cotton and other fibers were grown organically.

Hmm...I'm questioning how popular these sheets are...I'll do some more investigating to see if they are really good...or if they aren't that successful in sales numbers...

I think the cost may keep most people from buying them. I try to buy as many organic products as I can, it does get expensive. One has to shop around.

I noticed a few websites in the UK, but I don't know that I'd pay the extra money for something I'm not ingesting. I don't much give a flip if cotton is organic or not really ...it's the thread count I care about lol.

Hehe Okay, vicki2 brings up what my original thought was... if I'm not putting something into my system by eating it when it could have been sprayed with horrible stuff, why would it need to be organic?

I haven't heard that this is a trend, but I don't understand the reasoning. Okay, so if a certain fabric causes a person to break out, sure, then I can see it. But what benefits are being named for using "organic" clothing and sheets?
