Default A little bit of magic!

I've just finished reading The Secret Garden (i know, kid's books) and became re-aquinted with magic, as it streams through our world. the magic of friendship, springtime, autum, sumer, winter, the healing of a healthy lifestyle and how love can always grow. i occasionaly forget about the magic, and i don't like schmaltz, so i'll keep this brief. A toast then, to a world, less ordinary!

Absolutely! I'll drink to that too!
I see it in everyday things. On my way home from work the other day, the wind was blowing a hillside of grass by the side of the road. The grass was moving in waves to the wind and it was so neat to watch. I really would like to paint it but I've no idea how to represent that wave of motion. Anyway, it was one of those moments.

That book itself is magical. I like to reread it every few years because it helps me keep my sense of wonder alive. It's one of those books that's good over and over, even for adults.

We should read those books to remind ourselves of all of those things and more.

And read them the kids and teach them in the same time how to cherish the wonderful world of books. It really scares me when I see how much time they spend in front of a computer.
