Ethical ratings for international brands just a click away

If you’ve ever wondered just how ethical your favourite companies are, but were too lazy to do the research to find out, help is at hand.
A new piece of software called KnowMore tells you the environmental and social impacts of companies, brands and products as you browse their websites on the internet.
As you browse a company’s website, KnowMore alerts you to any known problems associated with that company, including human rights, worker rights, political influence, environmental issues, and business ethics.
Over 30 international brands have already been profiled for the software, with plans to add at least 200 more.
Knowmore is available as a plug-in for the FireFox web browser from www.knowmore.org.
